Mr. Spradley has been with the company for nearly 30 years.  At age 26, Mr. Spradley and his family purchased the Standard Candy Company that was originally founded in 1901, and successfully transformed its negative net worth into a prosperous, respected company.   Mr. Spradley was responsible for leading the aggressive sales and marketing effort that resulted in national notoriety for the company’s original candy product, “Goo Goo Cluster,” that still receives national attention today in the media, entertainment and pop culture. 

At the turn of the millennium, Mr. Spradley led a new strategic direction for the company in the nutraceutical and healthy food category with the launch of Standard Functional Foods Group, Inc., which has grown to become one of the leading contract manufacturers in nutritional bars and healthy snack bars.  Under Mr. Spradley’s direction, the company has become known for its cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities.

Mr. Spradley earned his Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from The University of Chicago.  He is a member of the prestigious Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and World Presidents’ Organization (WPO).
